Then the comms went out and there was nothing but radio silence. You frantically tried to talk to your sister, get her to finish what she was saying.

You kept fumbling with the earpiece that it fell onto the floor and the blood drained from your face. A weight dropped down on your chest as you worried what could have happened to your sister but then that fear soon was set aside when the lights turned off.
Suddenly, it wasn't only your sister that you needed to worry about.

However, the guilt and fear of your sister's safety compelled you to continue onward to the control room.

Speaking of Arjay, you began to wonder where he was. You couldn't seem to remember if he was in the cafeteria or not. Was he also behind this?
That thought simmered a painful burn inside your chest. You chose to ignore this feeling and continue to try to find the generator.
You found the backup generator. Now you needed to put in the password. You remembered that it was Arjay's birthday. If you remembered correctly, his birthday is on May 25th.

You tried to hold yourself together as the wretched scent continued to seethe your stomach. The odor was getting to you. You didn't know how much longer you could hold the stench in.

You look over and notice Judy standing by the door. She looked a bit beaten up but alive nonetheless. You both smile once your eyes meet and launch towards each other in gleeful relief. You both hug each other - sobbing and clutching onto one another.
"I was so worried I wouldn't be able to find you, $name," she whispered into your ear and then squeezed you a little tighter.
You smile in relief and squeeze her back, "I can't tell you how many worst case scenarios I ran in my head. I wanted to find you so badly but each time I thought I was close, I was frightened by the idea of what I could find."
Judy chuckled and nodded. You two last a second longer before finally pulling apart to take in each other's sight.
"You are covered in blood," Judy commented.

You let out a puff of smoke before waving it away from your face.
"And how do you know?"
Ryan looked down at his lap and sighed, "Because she recruited me to help her."
You looked over at him with a raised eyebrow, "Why are you telling me this?"
He gulped hard and began rubbing his hands together, "She told me that I didn't have anything to lose. If I helped her I wouldn't have to owe Tricia money and I could be free. That I didn't have any friends here anyways so it wouldn't matter."
You sighed and took another inhale of your joint before tossing onto the floor and stepping over it. As you twisted the ball of your foot over it, you thought about Ryan's words.

He shrugged.

You both smile once your eyes meet and launch towards each other in gleeful relief. You both hug each other - sobbing and clutching onto one another.
"I was so worried I wouldn't be able to find you, $name," she whispered into your ear and then squeezed you a little tighter.
You smile in relief and squeeze her back, "I can't tell you how many worst case scenarios I ran in my head. I wanted to find you so badly but each time I thought I was close, I was frightened by the idea of what I could find."
Judy chuckled and nodded. You two last a second longer before finally pulling apart to take in each other's sight.
"You are covered in blood," Judy commented.

"Oh my god," Judy exhaled and brushed some hair out of your face.
"You aren't looking that great either," you commented on her worn appearance. She looked like she just got out of a fight.

Skye recruited Arjay and Ryan to help her sabotage the ship and split the reward money for the cargo amongst only the three of them. That way they would get more money.
Arjay was in charge of turning off the engine and Skye's job was in charge of getting rid of the comms and making sure our navigations were set to a faux dropzone.
"B-but I found Arjay in the engine room," you sputtered, in disbelief of Arjay's betrayal.
"I think afterwards Arjay wanted to back out of the plan. Or maybe Skye decided she wanted the money all for herself."
You took a deep inhale and ran your hand over your mouth, "I just... I am having a hard time processing all of this."
"You don't have to worry about Skye," Judy commented.

You tilted your head, "What? How? When? Where?"
"She ambushed Nik and I in the control room. Nik took the worst of it but I was able to fend her off of me and I rushed to go get you. But I couldn't find you, so I went to the cargo room to confront Skye by myself."

Your sister smiled warmly and nodded, "Yes. We are safe, $name."
It felt like you were floating on air, you couldn't believe how much stress had been drowning in for the past couple hours. The rush of adrenaline and the wild rollercoaster ride of emotions.

"Her plan on cutting us out and just splitting the money with only three people. Actually, maybe even less considering she killed Arjay so she probably planned on killing Ryan too."
You let the thought sink in and then you involuntarily said your thought outloud, "It would still be a large amount between two people."
She didn't respond right away, but then a smirk spread across her lips, "Say perhaps two people who are related?"
You chuckled and threw the finished joint onto the floor and twisted the ball of your foot on top of it.
"Judy, have you ever thought of early retirement?"
"Fuck yeah."
